Notes & Observations
Season 2019 – No blossom, no fruit. Major aphid infestations due to unseasonably warm later winter / early spring and relatively dry summer. Predator populations increased but aphids outgrew them. No blossom or fruit.
7.5.20 – No blossom again this year, but no aphids (yet…)
13.8.20 – Strong stem growth, early signs of potential fruiting buds. Some aphid infestation but not as bad as 2019.
Season 2020 – Very vigorous growth, no blossom or fruiting as yet. Height to be addressed next pruning season? Canopy thinning may be required.
